Eva AuBuchon of Sullivan, MO, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Eva was born on April 10, 1924 in Bonne Terre, MO to Samuel and Theresa (Nee Chromoga) Sagan, one of 13 children. She married Albert AuBuchon on August 3, 1946 in Bonne Terre, MO, and to this union three children were born. She worked for many years in a drug store, purchasing supplies, delivering meds and designing displays. She loved to read and cook, but mostly spending time with her children, grandchildren and volunteering. She was a Pink Lady at the Missouri Baptist Hospital, and held several volunteer positions in the hospital and her church. She is survived by her husband, Albert AuBuchon of the family home; two sons, Gordon AuBuchon of St. Louis, MO and Patrick AuBuchon and wife Cheryl of Union, MO; a daughter, Elaine AuBuchon, of School Sister of Notre Dame; six grandchildren, Aaron, Josh and wife Jesse, Jacob and wife Sarah, Kaila, Haley, and Maisy; two great-grandchildren, Cole & Morgan; one brother, Harry Sagan; two sisters, Theresa Boyd and Dorothy Brown; other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 in St. Anthony Catholic Church, with Reverend Father John Patrick Day, C.P. officiating. Interment followed in St. Anthony Cemetery. All arrangements were under the care of the Eaton Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to St. Vincent DePaul in St. Anthony Church or School Sisters of Notre Dame in the name of Eva AuBuchon.
